Terms and conditions for adding your Minecraft Server to the Modiva Launcher.

Server Creation Agreement

By adding your Minecraft Server to the Modiva Launcher ("Modiva"), you ("Server Owner") agree to the following terms and conditions. Failure to comply with any of these terms may result in the suspension or permanent removal of your Server, and potentially your Server Owner account, regardless of your Server Status (Premium/Free), at Modiva's sole discretion.

I. Content and Conduct Standards

1. Respectful Content (No Profanity or Hate Speech)

  • Server names, descriptions, media (logo, banner, screenshots), announcements, and any promotional materials must not include profanity, obscenity, or any form of discriminatory, hateful, or derogatory language/imagery towards any individual or group of people.

  • Keep Modiva family-friendly at all times, as our platform may be used by minors.

2. Safe Media

  • Do not include nudity, sexually explicit material, graphic violence, self-harm promotion, or other "tough content" (gore, disturbing imagery) in your server's logo, banner, screenshots, or announcements.

3. Respect Modiva and its Community

  • Do not engage in any activity that is harmful, abusive, threatening, or disrespectful towards the Modiva Launcher, its staff, or its users. This includes, but is not limited to, public disparagement or promoting negative sentiments about the platform.

4. Mod and File Integrity (No Malicious Code):

  • Server Owners who utilize Modiva's auto-mod installation feature are solely responsible for the integrity and safety of all mod packs, configurations, and files provided. You must ensure that these files are clean, free of viruses, malware, trojans, or any code designed to steal user data, bypass security, or otherwise damage a user's computer or compromise their privacy. Any server found distributing malicious or unauthorized code will be immediately and permanently removed.

II. Platform Integrity and Fair Usage

1. No Spam or Duplicate Servers

  • The creation of multiple duplicate, low-effort, or placeholder servers by the same Server Owner is strictly prohibited.

  • Each listed server must be unique, operational, and actively maintained.

2. Operational Status (Server Availability)

  • Your listed Server must be online and accessible to users the vast majority of the time. Servers found to be consistently offline, non-responsive, or misleadingly advertised may be suspended.

3. No External Promotion (Targeted Advertising)

  • You may not use your server's listing (description, announcements) to promote or advertise external services, products, or non-Minecraft-related entities.

  • Permitted Promotions: Only promotions that are directly and exclusively related to your active, listed Minecraft Server are allowed (e.g., links to your server's official store, donation page, dedicated community forum, or social media pages).

4. No Manipulation (Fair Ranking)

  • You are strictly prohibited from using bots, automated systems, or fraudulent practices to artificially inflate your server's player count or ranking within the Modiva Launcher.

III. Legal and Security Requirements

1. Compliance with Law

  • Your Server and its associated content must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

  • Servers promoting or facilitating illegal activities (e.g., piracy, hacking, unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material) will be immediately removed.

2. Account Security

  • The Server Owner is solely responsible for maintaining the security of their Modiva account and all activity associated with their listed Server(s).

IV. Enforcement and Disclaimers

1. Right to Review and Suspend

  • Modva reserves the right to review, edit, or remove any Server listing, media, or announcement that it deems to be in violation of these terms or harmful to the platform's community or reputation, without prior notice.

  • Any decision regarding server suspension or removal can be only undone if our Moderation Teams decides so.

2. Changes to the Agreement

  • Modiva reserves the right to modify this Server Creation Agreement at any time. Server Owners will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

  • Make sure to follow each step.

  • The Modiva Launcher is an independent service and is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

  • By listing your server, you acknowledge that Modiva is not responsible for the content or operation of your server or any external links provided in your listing.
